In accordance with the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), as the designated State Unit on Aging, is mandated to submit a “State Plan on Aging” to the U.S. Administration on Aging. The COA provides transportation for Fall River seniors to medical and dental appointments within city limits. We commit to deepening our understanding of racial equity, hosting uncomfortable conversations, and joining others in reimagining equitable systems of care and community. The COA publishes a monthly newsletter, Footprints, which contains vital information, relevant to seniors, as well as information regarding events and programs furnished by the COA.
